Stree a new fiction show, starting from 26th Dec, Mon-Sun at 7:30 PM on Zee Bangla, is a story that focuses on the power of a Woman, and her love and determination for her husband. Niru is an innocent and fearless girl, who belongs to a not-so-privileged section of the society. Unlike any other girl, Niru has always dreamt of her wedding day and her ideal future husband. But life throws her into an unexpected circumstance, when on the day of her marriage she finds out that, her ideal groom is not so ideal, as though he is well established, and belongs to an aristocrat family, he is paralyzed and has to be carried everywhere on wheel chair. A heart-broken Niru denies to marry him, but eventually when she finds out of his generosity and his various other interests, she gets impressed. And once she finds out that the family has been conspiring against him, she decides to marry him. The story unfolds various aspects and struggles of Niru to save her husband from the evil.
